With a robust project pipeline across multiple sectors, were seeking a Data Engineer to join a growing Belfast-based team, supporting high-impact data-driven solutions and cutting-edge cloud architecture. We are looking for a technically sharp, motivated, and collaborative Data Engineer with AWS experience and a passion for building reliable, scalable data infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved with a highly capable team working on greenfield and enterprise-scale cloud projects. As a Data Engineer, you will: Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native data pipelines and infrastructure, primarily using AWS services. Implement scalable ETL/ELT processes to support business intelligence and advanced analytics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, architects, and developers to deliver best-in-class data solutions. Apply engineering best practices to ensure quality, performance, and security across data platforms. Take ownership of datasets and influence architecture decisions with a forward-thinking approach. A successful Data Engineer will have: Strong experience working with AWS Proficiency in SQL and a programming language such as Python or Scala. Background in building and maintaining modern data architectures, including batch and real-time data processing. Understanding of data modelling, warehousing, and orchestration tools. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment. A degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
