Automation Systems Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Automation Systems Specialist to join our Operations team. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain automation systems for VPE.
* Develop automation strategies for new product introductions and technology deployments
* Lead and support system improvements, detailed specifications, engineering documents, and standard operating procedures
* Solve complex problems, lifecycle management, and operational excellence
* Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to environmental health/safety practices, rules, and regulations
* 5+ years of experience in manufacturing automation in biopharmaceutical or API facilities
* Strong experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting, SCADA systems, Profibus networking, and OSIsoft PI Data Historian
* Familiarity with GAMP software development lifecycle, ANSI/ISA-S88, and S95 industry standards and 21 CFR Part 11
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, chemical engineering, biotech engineering, or related life science engineering
