MH PAMIR LIMITED - Apache pizza Waterford is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our purchasing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the purchasing of food ingredients, packaging materials, kitchen equipment and operational supplies required for the daily running of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and select qualified suppliers for food ingredients, packaging materials, kitchen equipment and operational supplies.
Negotiate supply terms, pricing structures and contracts with suppliers, ensuring cost efficiency and value for money.
Purchase goods and services in line with company budgets and operational requirements.
Evaluate the quality, freshness and compliance of purchased goods, ensuring they meet company standards and relevant food safety requirements.
Monitor deliveries, stock availability and supplier performance to ensure continuity of supply.
Liaise with management and kitchen/operations staff to forecast purchasing needs and avoid shortages or unnecessary stock waste.
Collaborate with internal departments, including production and operations, to forecast purchasing needs.
Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare reports for management review.
Requirements
1–2 years’ experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain operations.
Negotiation skills and analytical abilities to select the best suppliers and products within the established budget.
