About the Role:Noreside Engineering is seeking a skilled and ambitious Junior Automation Engineer (Robotics) to join our growing Automation & Robotics team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge automation technologies, supporting the design, development, and integration of robotic and control systems across a variety of industrial applications.You'll contribute to real-world engineering projects from concept through commissioning, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams while advancing your technical expertise in Siemens platforms and industrial robotics.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement automation control systems using Siemens PLCs (S7, TIA Portal, etc.).Program and configure PLC and HMI systems based on project requirements.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve automation issues in industrial processes.Perform system testing, debugging, and commissioning—both on-site and remotely.Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and other engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration.Stay current with advancements in automation, robotics, and Siemens control technologies.Required Qualifications & Skills:Minimum 1 year of experience in system integration, particularly with Fanuc Robotics and Siemens control systems.Relevant degree or certification in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related field.Hands-on experience in PLC, HMI, and safety programming and commissioning.Strong understanding of industrial automation and control system integration.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.Desirable Skills:Familiarity with communication protocols such as Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, and Ethernet/IP.Experience with motion control, robotics, or process control systems.Why Join Us:At Noreside Engineering, we're committed to innovation, technical excellence, and supporting our team's growth.
