We are currently hiring for a skilled and motivated Site Service Engineer to join our electrical manufacturer client’s team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to work across both workshop and site-based environments, supporting the delivery, installation, and maintenance of low voltage (LV) switchgear and power distribution systems.
Responsibilities
Carry out installation, testing, commissioning, and servicing of LV switchgear and related equipment
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults both in-house and on client sites
Conduct thermal imaging surveys and perform necessary switchgear modifications
Liaise with clients and project teams to ensure high standards of delivery
Complete all required documentation, including test certificates and service reports
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
Support continuous improvement through reporting and feedback
Requirements
Recognised Electrical Qualification (Ireland or equivalent)
Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience
Strong background in LV switchgear or related electrical systems
Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications
Willingness to travel regularly across Europe and work outside standard hours when needed
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Eligibility to work in the EU and proficiency in English
