Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the financial management of key projects ensuring robust cost control and commercial reporting.
* Liaise with the Commercial Manager to ensure alignment on budgeting forecasting and financial strategy.
* Manage subcontractor packages including tendering valuations and payment cycles.
* Oversee monthly cost reporting cashflow forecasting and risk/value management.
* Support and guide junior team members promoting best practice across the commercial function.
* Provide contractual advice and ensure full compliance with contract frameworks.
* Drive commercial performance through accurate reporting and proactive stakeholder engagement.
* Identify and implement improvements in systems reporting and cost strategies.
Requirements:
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience ideally in main contracting.
* Proven ability to manage subcontractor accounts and negotiate contract terms.
* Commercially astute with strong reporting and financial analysis skills.
* Excellent knowledge of contract forms.
* Proficiency in Excel and estimation software.
* Proactive detail-oriented and confident in decision-making and leadership.
