The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for an experienced and customer-focused Reservation Agent to join their dynamic accommodation team in the Castlemartyr / Garryvoe area. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and contributing to the reservation success of a dual-property operation.
As the Reservation Agent, you will be responsible for managing room bookings and enquiries for two properties, optimising occupancy, and providing a seamless guest journey from initial contact through to arrival. You will serve as a key point of contact for guests, ensuring all reservations are handled efficiently, accurately, and in line with company standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Handle all incoming reservation enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms in a timely and professional manner.
* Accurately input booking details into the reservation system while maximising occupancy and revenue.
* Liaise with internal departments (Front Office, Sales, Housekeeping, Events) to ensure smooth operational delivery.
* Provide detailed information regarding room types, rates, special offers, and package availability.
* Process amendments, cancellations, and special requests in accordance with company policies.
* Assist with group bookings, allocations, and rooming lists when required.
* Maintain a high level of product knowledge across both properties to effectively assist guests.
* Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest queries efficiently.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a hotel reservations, front office, or customer service role (hospitality experience desirable).
* Strong communication skills with an excellent telephone manner.
* Proficient in hotel reservation systems (Opera experience advantageous).
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
* Ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and guest satisfaction.
* Must be currently living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
* Visa or relocation packages are not provided.
