Job Summary
The Site Health and Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of construction projects by promoting a positive safety culture, conducting regular audits and inspections, and investigating accidents and incidents.
Main Responsibilities
* Act as the construction safety specialist for the project, ensuring all site works are carried out safely in compliance with regulatory and Company requirements.
* Promote an open continuous improvement culture in relation to all health, safety, and environmental work practices on the site/project.
* Manage, escalate, and action all accident/incident investigations and outcomes with follow-up tracking to conclusion.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a relevant qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (or other related studies) and have proven competence in health, safety, and welfare regulations, guidelines, and best practices in Construction.
You should also have experience in an EHS construction role or similar position, ideally within a pharm/med tech/life science environment, and be proficient in MS Office - PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and safety management software.
