Arcadis DPS Engineering are a seeking a Warehouse Technician for an Oil & Gas assignment located in Whitegate, Cork. This is a 3 month contract.
Responsibilities
* Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring compliance with safety standards
* Safe storage, handling, and delivery of hazardous chemicals, gases, and materials to point of use
* Unload, check, and stock all materials (inventory and non-inventory) upon arrival
* Prepare materials for issue to Capital Projects, Maintenance, and Process teams
* Perform continuous inventory stock checks, including data entry, recounts, and approvals
* Reconcile, recheck, and resolve receipt/invoice queries accurately
* Operate forklifts for material handling, unloading, and delivery to plant as required
* Support warehouse operations during Plant Turnaround, Capital Projects, and improvement initiatives
Requirements
* Forklift Certification (essential)
* 3+ years warehouse technician experience in a similar environment (preferably supporting mechanical/electrical maintenance)
* Strong understanding of inventory management systems and best practices (Oracle or similar ERP, Excel basics desirable)
* Ability to coordinate multiple activities, respond quickly to stakeholders, and resolve conflicting priorities efficiently
* Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work as part of a team; self-motivated and accountable
