Job Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Traffic Management Coordinator to oversee the safe and compliant setup of traffic management plans at roadworks sites in County Cork. Our clients require someone to coordinate crews during installation and removal of signs, barriers, and lighting.
The ideal candidate will have a valid SLG/SOLAS card or equivalent and experience in traffic management or civil works. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and implement traffic management strategies in line with regulations (e.g. Chapter 8/SOLAS).
* Coordinate crews during installation and removal of traffic management assets.
* Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to ensure public and worker safety.
* Liaise with local authorities and utility companies to secure permits.
* Maintain accurate records of traffic management setups and inspections.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and legal requirements.
