Senior Analytical Chemist Role
As a Senior Analytical Chemist, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to ensure the successful development and validation of phase-appropriate analytical methods. This includes providing guidance on laboratory operations, testing, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
The role requires excellent core competencies such as teamwork, communication skills, and technical writing skills. You will also need to have a strong technical background in chemistry, particularly analytical chemistry, and be able to work effectively in a high-pressured environment.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical expertise to support the development and validation of analytical methods.
* Lead analytical technology transfer to site.
* Manage, supervise, and mentor analytical chemists.
* Draft and oversee the execution of Analytical Qualification Plans (AQPs) and analytical protocols.
* Support R&D analytical chemists in analytical testing for analytical method development, validation, qualification, and release testing.
Key Skills and Experience:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemistry or equivalent.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in analytical activities within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment or a contract manufacturing organization.
* Experience of personnel management or leading teams is required.
