Job Title: Qualified Carpenter Location: Urlingford Employment Type: Full-time Industry: Modular Construction / Off-Site Manufacturing Overview We are seeking a Qualified Carpenter to join our modular home construction team.
The successful candidate will work within a modern off-site manufacturing environment and on-site installation teams, delivering high-quality, energy-efficient modular buildings across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities Carry out all aspects of 1st and 2nd fix carpentry within modular home units.
Read, interpret, and work from technical drawings, plans, and specifications .
Install timber framing, flooring systems, internal partitions, roofing elements, windows, doors, skirting, architraves, and fitted units.
Support the assembly and finishing of modules within a factory setting, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Assist with site installation, including lift-in placement, weatherproofing, and final carpentry finishes.
Ensure all work meets Irish building regulations and company quality standards.
Work safely in compliance with Health modular or off-site construction experience is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of timber framing, structural carpentry, and finishing carpentry.
Ability to work from detailed drawings with high precision.
Competence with both hand tools and power tools .
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Valid Safe Pass ; Manual Handling and MEWP/Teleporter certs are a bonus.
Full driving licence preferred.
