Field Service EngineerOur client is the leading supplier of Process Equipment & Engineering Solutions into the Pharmaceutical, Chemical and Biotechnology Industries in Ireland &UK.Based from our Cork headquarters & reporting to the Operations Manager this position is responsible for the inspection, repair, and assembly of Process Control equipment sold or serviced by our company.Duties of the role include:In-house service assembly/overhaul/test of product portfolio sold by our company with focus on valve related items.The role will consist of a mix of work both in our workshop and on customer sites including overnight stays.Trouble shootingand repair of customer products and providing accurate repair reports.Operation of company relatedequipment such as Forklifts, Tools& Testing equipment.Responsibility for meeting related workshop schedules in coordination with company requirements.Ensure that the appropriate safety guidelines including the use of personal protective equipment are adhered to.Upkeep / maintenance of workshop – Including companyTools, Equipment & Assets.Adherence to companies ISO 9001:2015 Quality,and Health &Safety procedures.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Self-starter with the abilityto work on your own initiative and also as part of a team.High level of knowledge/expertise of mechanical & electronic processcontrol equipment.Technical problem solving & trouble shooting ability.A flexibleand innovative approach to work.Excellent interpersonal / communication skills.The ability to work with people at all levels of the organization both internally and externally.The abilityto write detailed reportssuch as site visits, repairreports.Role does require travel in Ireland &overnight stays on occasion.Mechanical engineering academic &/or trade qualification.Electrical/Electronic engineering experience &/or qualification would also be advantageous.Related industrywork experience in repair.Additional Information: 20-25 overnight in a year
