We are hiring a Staff Nurse for our Nursing Home in Co Mayo. This job is for someone wanting to join a busy, well-established nursing home group.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, person-centred care tailored to the individual needs of residents.
Foster a compassionate and respectful environment that supports residents’ physical, emotional, and spiritual well‑being.
Offer clinical guidance, supervision, and leadership to care staff.
Promote independence while ensuring dignity and respect in all care practices.
Assist with inspections and audits to uphold and improve care standards.
Take on the role of Nurse in Charge when required, ensuring efficient and smooth day-to-day operations.
Requirements
Third-level Nursing qualification
Registered with An Bord Altranais (valid PIN)
Relevant certifications or willingness to obtain (Infection Control, CPR, etc.)
Strong commitment to quality patient care
Nursing home experience preferred
Must hold an active Nursing PIN
For non-EEA candidates: must have a Stamp 4/Spouse or be an EU/EEA citizen
