Role Overview
A Senior Lead Technician is required by CareerWise Recruitment to join our North Cork based manufacturing client. Permanent role within a modern high volume / highly automated manufacturing facility. 3 x 12 hr shift rotation.
Responsibilities
Lead, supervise and support Manufacturing Support Technicians across assigned shifts.
Plan, organise and prioritise technical activities to ensure efficient operation and achievement of departmental targets.
Support troubleshooting and rapid resolution of equipment and process issues.
Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and equipment validation projects.
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Production teams on process improvement initiatives.
Report operational and technical activities to the Technical Group Leader.
Assist with departmental administration including overtime management, spare parts tracking and cost control.
Maintain accurate records and documentation relating to maintenance and technical activities.
Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance.
Requirements
Certificate or Diploma in Engineering (NFQ Level 6 or Level 7) in an Engineering discipline.
Previous experience in a technical leadership or senior technician role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong troubleshooting and maintenance experience on automated production or test equipment.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment performance and preventative maintenance systems.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
