SVP employs people to support volunteers in a variety of settings including housing, community care, shops, administration, and other specialist areas.The Role:We are currently looking to recruit a Order Fulfillment Centre Manager to join our Warehouse division in Nenagh, CO. Tipperary. This role is permanent full time. The OFC Manager acts as the direct manager of the Order Fulfilment Centre (OFC) and Fleet. The successful candidates will have excellent leadership and communication skills. They will liaise with shop managers/order processors to ensure shop orders are ready on time and are to the highest quality possible. To deal with any day-to-day issues that the shop managers raise, and where possible to solve them and/or bring them to the warehouse manager's attention.Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required Qualifications Leaving Certificate or equivalentDiploma or BSc in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (desirable)Experience 3–5 years managing a warehouse, distribution, and logistics function within a complex environmentExperience managing warehouse and fleet operations in line with Health & Safety requirementsProven ability to meet and exceed KPIs regularlyExperience in producing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reportsKnowledge Understanding of Health & Safety and Fleet Management legislationAwareness of the Society's mission and valuesUnderstanding of the issues faced by disadvantaged individuals and communitiesSkills Leadership: Ability to motivate, delegate, and inspire team performanceCoaching: Skilled in teaching operational skills and mentoring othersPerformance Management: Able to monitor performance and escalate issues appropriatelyCommunication: Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsEmpathy & Resilience: Patient, empathetic, and positive under pressureRelationship Building: Ability to foster strong cross-functional working relationshipsOrganisation: Excellent planning and coordination skillsDetermination: Resilient with a proactive and problem-solving mindsetIT Proficiency: Skilled in Excel, Word, EPOS, and Microsoft 365The person must also demonstrate the following personal attributes: Be honest and trustworthyBe respectfulBe flexibleDemonstrate sound work ethicsConfidentialityOtherPLEASE NOTE: If you are interested in being considered for this position, please apply as soon as possible as the role may be closed in advance of the date shown above due to high volume of applications.SVP is an Equal Opportunities Employer
