CAD / Design Engineer A growing manufacturing and engineering company is seeking a CAD / Design Engineer to join their Advanced Projects Team.
You will convert 2 D Auto CAD drawings into Solid Works 3 D models, STEP files, and production-ready drawings for precision fabrication, laser cutting, and robotic welding.
This role requires high attention to detail, fast turnaround, and a right-first-time mindset, as once released to production, changes are not expected.
Role Responsibilities Convert 2 D customer drawings into Solid Works 3 D models Produce STEP files for manufacturing Create fabrication and GA drawings Build BOMs and production orders in SAP Compile digital Quality Packs Work to tight deadlines with zero-defect expectations Update existing drawings and support peer reviews About You Strong Solid Works skills Able to interpret 2 D Auto CAD drawings Knowledge of fabrication/welding (advantage) Excellent accuracy and revision control Fast, process-driven, and detail-focused What We Offer 26 days annual leave Competitive salary based on experience Company pension Health insurance discount Gym membership discount Death-in-service benefit Skills: Time Management Communication Design
