Key Responsibilities:

* Manage a variable tool workload to meet/exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as yield, throughput, productivity, and downtime.
* Take a proactive role in problem identification, analysis, and resolution of production problems.
* Responsible for overall equipment performance (OEE) in each department and act as an advocate for continuous improvement activities using lean manufacturing tools to achieve targets and cost savings.
* Develop and improve planned maintenance regimes.
* Support supervisors on technical issues and put in place permanent and effective technical / system solutions to problems that arise.
* May be required to lead project teams in the development, verification, validation and submission of new processes.
* Ensure process is capable and determine calibration requirements and effective preventive maintenance requirements for tooling and test equipment.
* Resolve quality and technical issues such that impact on product supply to customers is minimized
* Ensure that all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are fulfilled.
* Maintain knowledge of new developments in maintenance practices and procedures to ensure that there is continuous improvement in maintenance standards.
* Complete all engineering documentation related to assigned projects.
