Job descriptionOccupational Health & Safety Teacher part time, remote-onlineCMI is offering an exciting opportunity to join our teaching team and work as a part time teacher on our professional Occupational Health & Safety Diploma and Certificate qualifications.This is a part time role that is ideal for experienced health and safety practitioners who can devote one to two evenings a week to teach online.All our new teachers receive full teacher and assessor training and mentoring. A comprehensive range of quality teaching materials and resources is provided. The ideal candidate must enjoy teaching/training and sharing their knowledge. Eligible candidates should check they meet the eligibility criteria listed for this role.Classes are held through live online classes through the CMI learning platform and are held one - two nights per week on Tuesday, Weds and /or Thursday evening, times 18:30-21:30.The modules cover:Health & Safety principlesRisk ManagementLegal and RegulationMaintaining a Safety cultureEligibility Criteria10 + years experience as a Health & Safety practitioner or Manager.A relevant Degree/ or Masters qualification is required in Occupational Health & Safety.Graduate or Chartered Member of IOSH preferredCopies of health and safety qualifications will be required1-2 years prior teaching experience desirable, not mandatoryCandidates must have fast broadband either in their home or workplace (more than 5Mps upload and download).This is an exciting and prestigious role to work with a dynamic education institute over 3 x 10 week terms every year.Job Type: Part-timePay: €40.00-€44.00 per hourBenefits:Work from homeEducation:Bachelor's (preferred)Experience:health safety: 10 years (required)Work Location: RemoteApplication deadline: 11/01/2026
