MEICA Project Managers (Water / Wastewater) Location: South and Midlands - Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Kilkenny with site visits Sector: MEICA Water / Wastewater Industry Ireland based, remote working with a requirement to attend occasional ad-hoc meetings in Dublin, Cork, Kilkenny or Limerick office at short notice. Are you a skilled Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering professional with expertise within Water / Wastewater sector? WPR is partnering with a renowned client who has long term framework arrangements in place for delivery of essential water and wastewater network projects. Due to the recent awarding of a major contracts, we are seeking motivated skilled MEICA professionals to join the Asset Management team in Dublin, Cork, Limerick or Kilkenny to ensure the reliability and safety of process assets in water and wastewater treatment plants across the water and wastewater network. As MEICA Project Manager you will help deliver a clear understanding of the condition of current assets while supporting the development of planned preventative maintenance plans and capital investment plans for water treatment and wastewater treatment sites nationally. A large programme of work is planned for the next 5 - 10 years. Key Responsibilities: As MEICA Project Manager, a key member of the Water / Wastewater Asset Planning Team your duties will include: Manage the delivery of one or more projects, depending on scale, from initiation through to project closeout, ensuring the procurement process is followed in the project lifecycle. Develop the project plan(s) and ensure resources are allocated to achieve planned work schedules, report on status, risks, issues, and projects plans of all projects. Ensure that analysis and overall system design, including production of specifications, is completed, manage timescales to ensure adherence to approved milestones and overall budget Manage stakeholders across the project lifecycle including users and external resources/ service providers Manage relationships with all suppliers and contractors, monitoring their progress and adherence to the contract. Influence the continuous improvement of project delivery across various portfolios, using standard project delivery processes. Project Manager Key Attributes and Experience: Relevant third level qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, or related discipline Project Management qualification is highly desirable, familiarity with both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies and experience in delivering using both, training can be given.
