The role holder will work on projects across their entire life cycle – from project initiation,through construction,commissioning/user acceptance testing, go liveandrightuptoproject close/lessons learnt.The role is based in Dublinor Cork.The TeamThe Chief Transformation & Technology Office (CTTO) is responsible for driving innovation, digital transformation, and strategic technology delivery across EirGrid. It plays a central role in enabling the organisation to meet its decarbonisation and infrastructure goals through the deployment of modern systems, data intelligence, and programme governance frameworks.The Offshore Phase 1 and Offshore Asset Readiness Programme (OARP) team is a pivotal team supporting delivery of Ireland’s offshore wind targets by 2030 and beyond. The team provides strategic and technical oversight and delivery across Phase 1 offshore projects and the OARP—a multi-year transformation programme spanning 30 capability areas. It ensures alignment with the CRU’s Offshore Revenue Model and supports EirGrid’s regulatory, operational, and financial readiness.About youSuccessful candidates will have:Engineering degree or equivalent, typically with 8years+ relevant experiencewith a holistic understanding of the power industryProven experience of managing a portfolio of largescaleasset managementprojects–overseeing the delivery of complex solutions and an ability to drive successful outcomesPassionate, engaging with a drive and enthusiasm to deliver on the companystrategy with and through othersExcellentcommunicator, able to articulate technical concepts and analysis to non-technical audiences and business leadersAbility to coach and develop high performance capabilities in a changing and dynamic environmentExpertisein conceiving and introducing innovative ideas,solutionsor new ways of doing things to solve business problems, collaborating with business experts along the wayStrong understanding of the requirements of stakeholders and industry for the transmission system and associated developmentsCommercial awareness with strong vendor management skills.Closing date for applicationsClosing date is 13th February 2026We're dedicated to diversity and inclusion at Eirgrid.
