Principal Designer, Layout
About The Role
As a Principal Designer, Layout, in the Advanced Converters Group, you are a recognized expert within ADI, working on uniquely significant and complex layout challenges that have strategic importance to the organization. You provide highly creative solutions, drive innovation, and serve as a technical authority while developing and mentoring others across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Works on uniquely significant and complex layout challenges with organizational-wide impact
Provides highly creative solutions that advance ADI's technical leadership position
Develops and mentors others to build organizational capabilities and bench strength
Leads cross-organizational initiatives that drive strategic business outcomes
Provides technical leadership for multiple complex IC layout projects
Defines architecture strategies and makes high-impact design decisions
Drives innovation in layout methodologies and processes
Serves as technical expert and mentor across multiple teams and functions
Must Have Skills
Technical Authority: Recognized technical expertise with influence throughout the organization and industry
Industry-Leading Expertise: Industry-leading expertise in IC layout, architecture design, and process optimization
Market Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of competitive markets and emerging technologies
Leadership Excellence: Demonstrated leadership in promoting teamwork and organizational effectiveness

Preferred Education And Experience
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
10+ years of relevant experience
Export Controls
