About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and scale strategic technology initiatives within the investment division of our client. This is a senior leadership position where you will shape cloud-first platforms, build and mentor high-performing engineering teams, and partner closely with investment stakeholders to deliver resilient, market-leading solutions.
You will play a key role in driving technical strategy, modernising investment systems, and ensuring technology aligns seamlessly with business and investment goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team delivering critical investment platforms.
* Own and execute the technical roadmap for Aladdin and associated investment systems.
* Partner with investment professionals and senior technology leaders to translate business strategy into scalable technical solutions.
* Provide architectural and design leadership, ensuring platforms are secure, resilient, and future-proof.
* Drive cloud transformation initiatives, building and evolving robust Azure-based investment platforms.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, ideally within financial services or investment technology.
* Strong understanding of investment platforms; experience with Aladdin or similar systems is highly desirable.
* Solid technical background in .NET, Python, and Azure, with the ability to guide architectural decisions (hands-off coding).
* Demonstrated ability to set technical direction, influence stakeholders, and deliver at scale.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Must hold a valid Stamp 4 visa.
