QA Specialist - Compliance, Amazon Games

We seek an experienced quality assurance professional with a proven track record in delivering 1st Party Compliance services for both in-development and live titles. In this role, you will collaborate with development teams, release management, and functional QA to implement 1st Party Requirements and secure submission approvals through test strategies, execution, and defect reporting on assigned titles.
Key job responsibilities
1. Deliver comprehensive testing coverage and ensure accurate and efficient reporting of all compliance defects on assigned titles.
2. Provide project status reports, highlighting defect patterns, submission risks, and recommendations.
3. Regularly review defect diversity, quality, and accuracy to provide actionable insights for production teams.
4. Support production partners in correctly implementing 1st Party requirements, considering design intent.
5. Assist production and release management teams throughout the submission process.
A day in the life
At Amazon Games, our goal is to create bold new experiences that foster community engagement. Our team develops and publishes live service AAA multiplayer games and original IPs, including New World: Aeternum and an upcoming title based on The Lord of the Rings. Our studios are in Seattle, Orange County, San Diego, Montreal, and Bucharest. Amazon Games also collaborates with developers to publish top-tier games, such as Lost Ark, THRONE AND LIBERTY, King of Meat, and the next Tomb Raider entry.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience in QA within the game industry, with demonstrated testing of AAA HD titles.
* Strong knowledge of at least one 1st Party Requirements system and Submission process (Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo).
* Experience in shipping titles from a QA Compliance role.
* Deep understanding of QA testing practices throughout the development lifecycle, including test strategy, test plans, test case creation, JIRA management, resource allocation, and test execution monitoring.
* Excellent written and verbal English skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and understand business requirements.
* Experience translating feature design intentions and quality expectations into effective test strategies and plans.
