About the Role
We are seeking a
Building / Property Inspector
to lead rental standards compliance inspections and stock condition surveys across the Greater Dublin Area. This role suits someone with strong inspection experience who is ready to take ownership of projects, work directly with clients, and play a key role in developing APS's inspection services and team.
What You'll Do
* Carry out housing inspections in line with the
Minimum Standards in Rented Accommodation Regulations (2019)
* Lead
Stock Condition Surveys
for Approved Housing Bodies
* Undertake AHB inspections including voids, repairs, and PPM programmes
* Prepare high-quality inspection reports using APS digital systems
* Liaise directly with clients at appointment times.
* Identify improvement opportunities and support all inspection-led projects
* Lead new projects and contribute to team development and growth
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in property inspections, housing compliance, or condition surveys
* Level 7 or Level 8 degree or professional qualification in:
* Building Surveying
* Architectural Technology
* Civil / Structural Engineering
* Strong understanding of housing standards and inspection processes
* Confident client-facing communication and report writing skills
* Full, clean driving licence
* Must be based in Ireland
* Experience in the rental or social housing sector is a strong advantage
