We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Capital Delivery team and play a pivotal role in the construction and delivery of complex infrastructure projects that support our long-term Asset Management Plan.
This is your opportunity to lead from the front – managing large-scale projects, mentoring a team of project managers, and ensuring successful delivery outcomes across a high-value capital works portfolio.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of the execution and closure phases of projects within your portfolio, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and in alignment with the business case, design intent, and strategic goals.
You'll work collaboratively with internal teams, external consultants, and our construction partners to meet or exceed delivery targets across cost, schedule, safety, and quality.
You'll also provide strong leadership to a team of project managers, ensuring that knowledge sharing, capability development, and continuous improvement are embedded across the team and wider organisation.

You are an experienced project who has excellent interpersonal and communications skills, and are results driven.
You enjoy working towards targets with tight budgets and time frames.
You Background And Experience Will Include
A tertiary qualification in project management, engineering, or a related field.
Extensive experience delivering infrastructure projects ideally in water, wastewater, or utilities.
Managing project Quality Assurance, Health and Safety, financial, procurement and reporting requirements
NZS3916 and NZS3910 Contract Experience
Demonstrated experience working with contractors and consultants.
A collaborative, safety-first approach with the confidence to engage at all levels.
