They operate primarily within high-tech and regulated environments, including pharmaceutical, food & beverage, petrochemical, and industrial manufacturing facilities. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their Cork-based operations.Role OverviewThe Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of electrical packages on high-tech construction and engineering projects. The role requires a strong electrical bias, excellent stakeholder management skills, and proven experience delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget. The successful candidate must be commutable to Cork and comfortable working across fast-paced, technically complex environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate electrical teams, subcontractors, and suppliers on siteManage the full lifecycle of electrical projects from design coordination through to commissioning and handoverEnsure all works are delivered in compliance with project specifications, drawings, and regulatory standardsDevelop and manage project programmes, budgets, forecasts, and cost controlsLiaise closely with clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure project alignmentDrive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all HSE and site safety requirementsOversee quality assurance, inspections, testing, and commissioning activitiesIdentify risks and opportunities, implementing mitigation strategies where requiredProduce regular progress reports and project documentationKey RequirementsElectrical qualification or trade background (essential)Proven experience in an Electrical Project Manager or similar roleStrong background delivering projects within pharmaceutical, food & beverage, petrochemical, or industrial facilitiesSolid understanding of electrical systems including LV/MV distribution, containment, instrumentation, and controlsStrong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and variationsExcellent leadership, communication, and organisational skillsAbility to manage multiple stakeholders in regulated, high-spec environmentsMust be based in or commutable to CorkDegree or third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related disciplineExperience working for specialist M&E or electrical contractorsKnowledge of GMP and other regulated industry standardsWhat’s on OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageLong-term career progression with a growing engineering contractorExposure to cutting-edge, high-tech projectsSupportive and professional working environment
