OverviewSenior Business Analyst – Web Platform (.NET) & Financial ServicesLocation: Dublin (Hybrid)Company: Consulting FirmExperience Required: Minimum 4 years as a Business AnalystAbout the RoleWe are hiring a Senior Business Analyst to support the delivery of a new web platform for a major financial services client. This role requires someone who understands how robust online platforms are built, has experience working closely with .NET engineering teams, and has solid knowledge of banking products—especially mortgages. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring clarity, structure, and alignment throughout the project.Key ResponsibilitiesLead requirements gathering for web platform features, user flows, integrations, and technical constraints.Translate business needs into clear, structured documentation (BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria).Work daily with .NET architects and engineering teams to ensure requirements are well understood and technically feasible.Analyse existing mortgage and banking processes and support their transformation into digital journeys.Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to define workflows, data requirements, validations, and compliance rules.Support solution design sessions, ensuring the platform adheres to regulatory and operational standards.Assist in test planning, UAT coordination, and validation of delivered features.Maintain end-to-end requirement traceability and support release planning.Required Experience & Skills4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.Strong background working with web platforms or digital products.Experience collaborating with .NET development teams (understanding of APIs, services, data models, and platform architecture).Solid understanding of banking products, with emphasis on mortgages (origination, underwriting, servicing, affordability rules, documentation requirements).Strong process mapping and documentation abilities.Excellent communication skills and experience working with senior stakeholders in technology and business.Practical understanding of compliance, risk, and operational controls within financial services.Nice-to-HaveExperience in consultancy or professional services environments.Knowledge of financial regulations that impact digital banking journeys (e.g., KYC/AML, credit checks, affordability assessments).Understanding of microservices, integration patterns, or cloud-based architectures.What We OfferOpportunity to work on a strategic platform project for a major financial institution.Hybrid working setup in Dublin.Competitive compensation aligned with senior BA expectations.Long-term project stability with a mature delivery environment.
