Functional Assessor Role

As a Functional Assessor, you will utilize your expertise and skills in conducting assessments and examinations related to claimants' eligibility for benefit payments. This role involves performing face-to-face and remote assessments, compiling factual evidence, and creating concise medical reports to support decision-making.
Our comprehensive induction and training program provides over 100 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in the first three months, ensuring you are well-prepared for your role. We prioritize continuous professional development throughout your career.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct telephone and face-to-face functional assessments of individuals with disabilities or health conditions.
* Compile clear, concise, and factual medical reports.
* Collaborate with regional managers and administrators to meet service level agreements.
* Utilize IT systems to support clinical decision-making and report writing.
We seek candidates with one year's post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic. You must be fully registered with a relevant UK regulatory body and possess strong interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills.
