Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort seeks a professional Chef de Partie to join its culinary team. The hotel is a four-star property set on 130 acres of beautiful parkland, with an impressive Victorian House forming its heart.
The role involves assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chefs in running the kitchen and contributing to the production of high-quality food. Key responsibilities include preparing and garnishing food orders according to menu specifications, supervising setup, and adhering to HACCP regulations.
About the Role:
* Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chefs in managing the kitchen operations.
* Prepare and properly garnish all food orders according to menu specifications.
* Supervise the setup of each item on menus and ensure readiness and food standard.
* Prepare dishes for bar, restaurant, and conference and banqueting outlets.
* Develop creative and innovative dishes.
* Adhere to HACCP regulations at all times.
* Support fellow kitchen staff in observing proper systems of hygiene during food preparation and storage.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years experience as a Chef de Partie within a food service environment.
* Culinary school diploma or equivalent qualification.
* Possess passion and genuine interest in food.
* Able to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
* Good knowledge of HACCP procedures and regulations.
