Role PurposeThe Head of Change and M&A Integration will drive organisational change through the management of a diverse portfolio of projects. These include M&A integrations, IT and non-IT initiatives such as regulatory change, performance improvements, and process efficiencies.Core ResponsibilitiesChange Portfolio Design and ManagementPartner with the Executive Leadership Team to shape the annual strategic change portfolio, considering project timing, dependencies, and resource availability.Act as the primary liaison for the leadership team when new project proposals are initiated.Oversee the delivery of the strategic projects portfolio, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time and within budget.Apply structured project management methodologies and provide coaching to project teams.Define and measure success metrics, assess change impacts, and manage key stakeholders.Lead change projects in IT, operations, and M&A, mobilising resources, creating project plans, and driving governance.M&A IntegrationCollaborate with the M&A team from the due diligence phase to develop integration plans.Build integration plans alongside subject matter experts.Define project governance, including regular project meetings and steering committees.Monitor project execution to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery, including realisation of identified synergies.Operational ResilienceDevelop and maintain a European operational resilience framework aligned with group standards while supporting local autonomy.Guide business units in identifying Important Business Services (IBS), setting impact tolerances, and conducting scenario testing.Coordinate resilience initiatives such as simulations, tabletop exercises, and crisis response planning.Monitor resilience maturity across the network and recommend improvements.CommunicationManage communication of the change portfolio to the Executive Leadership Team.Collaborate with the Communications team to ensure effective messaging across impacted business areas.RequirementsMinimum 5 years of change management experience with direct engagement at leadership level.Strong understanding of change processes, particularly how individuals and organisations adapt to change.Demonstrated experience in M&A integration.Previous people leadership experience.Experience with IT change initiatives.Consultancy experience is desirable.Person SpecificationStrong analytical skills.Excellent communication ability.Relationship-building expertise.Ability to influence without direct authority in a collaborative manner.Flexibility and adaptability in ambiguous situations with strong learning agility.Strong problem-solving and solution-generation capability.Highly organised with attention to detail.Capable of operating effectively at all organisational levels.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionGeneral Business, Project Management, and AdministrativeIndustriesInsuranceInsurance Agencies and BrokeragesInsurance Carriers
