Job Opportunity
The ideal candidate for this role will have prior experience in warehouse operations.
* Performing facility operations such as loading/unloading trucks, filling/reclaiming grain ground piles, and various other grain handling tasks with bags weighing up to 20kg
* Ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of production equipment to facilitate ongoing facility operations
* Receiving incoming goods verifying packaging documentation against shipment records and checking for damages while adhering to standard procedures using professional judgement
* Ensuring safe storage of product in the warehouse, minimizing damage by utilizing an in-depth understanding of the required duties and assisting others when needed
* Operating equipment and machines such as hand trucks, forklifts, palletizers, stretch-film wrappers, labelers or conveyors to stack or wrap materials for moving, storing and preparing product for shipment
* Performing housekeeping duties and general warehouse maintenance tasks
* Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
* Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting objects up to 20kg, kneeling
* Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English (verbal/written)
* Basic computer skills
* Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., while wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
