Your new role
As a General Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities for a major commercial construction project in Mullingar.
Your role will involve managing site teams, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
You will monitor progress against the project schedule, resolve any issues that arise, and maintain clear communication with the Site Manager and other stakeholders.
This is a hands-on leadership position where you will play a critical role in driving productivity and ensuring the successful delivery of the project.
Key responsibilities include:
Supervise and coordinate daily site operations and workforce.
Monitor progress and report updates to the Site Manager.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to maintain a smooth workflow.
Maintain quality control and address any technical or operational challenges promptly.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience as a Foreman or similar supervisory role within commercial construction projects.
Strong understanding of construction processes, building regulations, and health & safety standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
A proactive approach to managing teams and resolving issues on-site.
Full driving licence and flexibility to travel to Mullingar
