Senior Social Care Worker Role Overview
The primary objective of this position is to provide support and care through a person-centered approach, meeting the practical, physical and emotional needs of service users with an intellectual disability/autism spectrum disorder.
To assist individuals with disabilities in residential settings and day activities to achieve their highest level of functioning while maintaining independence or improving skills for greater self-sufficiency.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Participate as part of an on-floor duty team and assume coordination responsibilities during shifts.
* Supervise other staff under direction.
* Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) for effective service delivery to residents.
