Job Title
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Planning Consultant to lead the development of large-scale projects in Ireland and Europe.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on multiple large-scale projects across various sectors, including strategic developments for multinational clients.
* Prepare and manage development consents, compliance, and planning strategies for large-scale projects.
* Contribute to the design process for layout, master planning, and coordination of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIAR).
* Collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Liaise with County Councils, An Bord Pleanala, and other statutory bodies as required.
Experience in environmental permitting, including EPA Licence application processes and waste facility licencing, would be beneficial.
This role requires a strong understanding of planning regulations, policies, and procedures, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Must have:
* Proven experience in environmental planning and development consenting;
* Strong knowledge of Irish and European planning laws and regulations;
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
* Master's degree or equivalent in Environmental Planning or a related field;
* Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) certification or equivalent;
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
