Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Legal Secretary/Assistant to join our team. This position requires a professional who can seamlessly manage office operations while providing administrative support to legal professionals. Duties Will Include:
· General secretarial duties and the oversight of day-to-day office operations.
· Managing filing and archiving.
· Management of court diary.
· Compiling briefs for counsel.
· Manage case files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and filed correctly.
· Schedule and coordinate meetings, court appearances, and appointments.
· Communicate with clients, courts, and external stakeholders as needed.
· Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with legal protocols.
· Coordinate IT and facilities support to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Proven experience as a secretary, office manager, or similar role.
· Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Office Suite and case management tools.
· Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· High level of discretion and professionalism.
· Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.
· Proactive approach to tasks and the ability to adapt to dynamic situations with common sense and resourcefulness.
