Morgan McKinley is partnering with a leading Irish retail bank to hire for an expert in Copilot Agent development.
Please note this is a 6 months Daily Rate Contract.
As a Senior Engineer, you will be providing technical direction and expertise in the design, delivery, and scaling of secure, enterprise-grade Copilot Agent solutions. The role combines deep expertise in Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI with understanding of engineering standards, AI risk management, and stakeholder engagement in a regulated environment
Your Role:
The AI Lab senior engineer with work closely with the AI Technology Enablement Lead and focus on designing and building the technology platforms to enable initiatives that will drive efficiencies, productivity and quality gains across our business as well as generate revenue opportunities.
Your Responsibilities:
To succeed in this role, you’ll need proven experience of design and delivery of Microsoft Copilot solutions in a complex, high-impact and fast-paced regulated enterprise environment. You’ll be a key addition to the team responsible for:
Technical Delivery and Innovation
Partner with technology, data and risk teams to design and execute AI-powered solutions
Collaborate on the design, development, and deployment of Microsoft Copilot and Copilot agents.
Design and implement Copilot agentic solutions to meet business needs
Implement testing processes to ensure AI solutions developed align to best practice and AI governance principles
Research AI trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential for integration into the team’s AI strategies.
Collaborate with business owners to ideate, invent and design Copilot agent solutions to address business needs
Collaborate with the AI Lab team, contributing to an engaging, inclusive, and innovative learning culture.
Advocate AI literacy in the AI lab, Group technology teams and among the wider AI
Security, Risk and Governance
Communicate AI risk, controls, and limitations clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Ensure all deliverables are in line with the bank’s AI risk and governance controls
Ensure all deliverables demonstrate appropriate testing prior to live release
Requirements
As a senior engineer you will have the following skills:
Expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot architecture, including Copilot Agents and their operation within Microsoft 365 service and security boundaries
Proven experience designing and delivering custom Copilot Agents using Copilot Studio
Advanced prompt engineering skills for enterprise use, including reliability, consistency, and risk mitigation
Microsoft Power Apps proven experience and qualifications
At least 5 years in a senior engineering position.
At least 2 years’ experience working with AI, including a strong awareness of regulatory frameworks (i.e. GDPR, EU AI Act).
Strong architectural understanding of Azure AI services used in conjunction with Copilot Agents, including Azure OpenAI and Cognitive Services (where approved)
Experience integrating agents with Microsoft Graph, enterprise data sources, document repositories, and internal APIs
Familiarity with ethical AI principles and data privacy regulations with knowledge of AI governance frameworks.
Third level education in computer science, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
