Overview
Our client is seeking a highly skilled
Senior Marketing & Business Development Manager
to play a key role in supporting senior leaders within their Dublin office. This position is ideal for an experienced BD professional who thrives in a strategic, partner-facing role and enjoys shaping initiatives that drive growth, strengthen client relationships, and enhance market presence.
Reporting to the Head of Group Business Development, you will champion best practice, instil a consultative approach to BD, and deliver initiatives aligned with the organisation's commercial strategy. This is a varied and high-impact role offering the opportunity to influence key stakeholders and contribute meaningfully to the client's expansion across Ireland and internationally.
What You'll Do
* Lead and deliver targeted BD plans aligned with firmwide, sector, and regional priorities
* Identify growth opportunities and support partners in implementing business development and client engagement activities
* Manage the end-to-end process for bids and tenders, including strategy development, coordination with specialist teams, and post-submission reviews
* Deliver high-quality marketing materials, campaigns, and events that strengthen client relationships and elevate the organisation's brand
* Provide market, competitor, and client insights to support strategic decision-making, including contributions to PR activity and legal directory submissions
* Champion the use of BD technologies (e.g., CRM and marketing platforms) to improve targeting, pipeline visibility, and client engagement
* Line-manage a BD & Marketing Executive and oversee consistent, accurate content, credentials, and promotional materials
Who We're Looking For
* Proven experience in business development, marketing, or client relationship management within a law firm or professional services organisation
* Ability to build strong relationships at all levels, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet competing deadlines
* Excellent communication skills, with strong business writing, attention to detail, and commercial insight
* Experience managing or coaching junior BD professionals
* Highly collaborative, organised, proactive, and adaptable, with a willingness to bring fresh ideas and a growth mindset
