We are seeking aFinancial Analystto provide financial support to our client'smanufacturing facility located in county Mayo. This role reports to theSenior Manager Finance, Global Supply Chainand acts as a key finance partner to the local Distribution leadership team.This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to work closely with operations, support decision-making, and drive performance in a fast-paced, multinational environment.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Partnering & ReportingAct as the key finance partner to the Distribution Center leadership teamPrepare, review, and present monthly financial performance results and key metricsPlanning, Forecasting & AnalysisOwn and prepare the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)Develop and maintain rolling forecasts for the Distribution CenterBuild future cost models to support strategic and operational decisionsInventory & Cost ManagementPartner with Distribution teams to control inventory and manage obsolescenceCoordinate assignment of inventory risk to responsible partiesIdentify, quantify, and track cost-saving opportunitiesCompliance & ControlsCollaborate with internal and external auditors, providing analysis and documentation as requiredEnsure compliance with all relevant financial rules, regulations, and policiesCapital & ProjectsEvaluate capital expenditure requests for the Distribution CenterAct as Finance Lead for Distribution within transformation initiatives, including S/4HANA implementationLead or support ad-hoc finance projects as requiredAnalytics & SystemsDevelop analytical models and dashboards using available tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, AI tools )Experience & QualificationsWork Experience2–5 years of relevant finance experienceIdeally 3+ years post-qualification experienceBackground in a multinational environment preferredExperience within distribution, manufacturing, or shared services is an advantageEducationBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related fieldProfessional accounting qualification desirable but not mandatory (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent)Technical SkillsAdvanced MS Excel skillsSAP experience desirablePower BI knowledge is a plusFor a confidential conversation about the role please apply for the role or contact Owen Clancy at By applying to this job post you agree that Sterling Engineering may process your personal data for recruitment purpose.
