Architectural Technologist
About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, a passion for design, and experience translating conceptual designs into accurate, buildable drawings and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents using AutoCAD & Revit.
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to develop and coordinate technical solutions.
* Ensure compliance with building regulations, codes, and sustainability standards.
* Assist in site analysis, feasibility studies, and planning applications.
* Conduct site visits and liaise with contractors and clients during the construction phase.
* Resolve technical and design issues efficiently and effectively.
* Maintain project documentation and support project management tasks where required.
Requirements:
* Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field.
* Minimum 3 years of professional experience in architectural practice.
* Proficiency in Revit/CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong understanding of building regulations and construction methods.
* Excellent technical drawing and detailing skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Strong time management and organizational skills.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with BIM processes and software.
* Familiarity with sustainable design principles and certifications.
* Experience across various project stages, from concept to completion.
* Knowledge of planning policies and procedures.
