The successful applicant will be employed as Head of Customer Service - Europe within the Customer Service Dept. and will report directly to the Head of Global Customer Service. Key elements of the role Responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to the following: - Based primarily in Ireland, coordinate customer service activity within region, to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction - Deliver timely support for customers, both directly and indirectly through network of mixed sales companies (MSC) - Coordinate labour and equipment for site work - Maintain accurate records for activity and work completed - Monitor reliability of equipment within region - Communication with customers on service and related matters - Liaising with internal departments to eliminate faults and improve products - Promote and market Liebherr brand, products, and services - Continuously monitor competition - Work with Liebherr global network of Mixed Sales Companies (MSC) to promote and develop business opportunities - Share responsibility for supervision of MSC, within MCC division - Monitor and ensure needs for both customers and MSC are achieved - Responsible for planning and achieving business targets within region, and planning budgets and revenue targets - Monitor open customer receivables (invoices), and if necessary, support accounts - Manage direct reports, service engineers, technical advisors, etc. - Support sales and project functions within the department and company to promote and develop business - Establish new and develop existing relationships with customers - Develop and maintain KPI and targets - Maintain a customer focused approach - Ensure quality, environmental and Health & Safety standards are always maintained Qualifications / Experience - A suitable qualification, or trade, in a relevant discipline or suitable experience (engineering is preferred) - Self-motivated with management capabilities. - Proven track record of working with various stakeholders to coordinate, plan, execute, and track projects. - Ability to take the initiative and personal responsibility. - Service minded, customer focused and team player with strong leadership skills. - Willingness to travel, as needed - Microsoft Office Experience across Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. - Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. - Good verbal and written communication in English.
