Overview
We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer as a key member of our team. We are now building out the QA team to enhance our test efforts and moving to an integrated platform approach. This is an ideal opportunity to be part of a growing team.
Key Responsibilities
* Work within a cross functional team to understand the product solution.
* Design and create test plans and test scenarios.
* Design and document test cases and test data for use during testing.
* Execute manual and automated tests (functional, regression, and backward compatibility testing).
* Responsible for management and coordination of all testing activities on assigned projects/agile squad.
* Attend the Squad Leaders Release review calls and highlight any issues/blockers/risks from a QA perspective.
* Work with the test automation team to build automated test cases.
* Creation and tracking of issue reports raised as a result of testing.
* Impact analysis of issue resolution and re-testing of fixes.
* Regular reporting of test results based on agreed milestones.
* Deal with customer support cases and build into test cases for future releases.
* Provide feedback to developers and product managers around UX based testing outcomes.
* Provide feedback to the QA team on optimization of test methods.
Requirements
* 10+ years of QA experience.
* Strong knowledge and experience in Agile methodology.
* Familiarity with automation (Selenium) is desirable.
* Proficient in creating test cases and identifying test scenarios.
* Solid understanding of test planning, test management, and test execution.
* Sound knowledge of the bug life cycle, defect management, defect tracking, and defect summarization reports.
* Expertise in functional, regression, compatibility, and cross-browser testing.
* Experience with bug tracking and management tools, such as DevOps.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
