Our client is launching a new site within the IT Asset Disposition and electronics recycling sector and are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead operations from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a fast-growing facility, scale a workforce of up to 100 employees, and play a critical role in responsible, compliant, and efficient recycling operations.
As Site Manager, you will have full operational responsibility for a newly established facility, combining manufacturing-style discipline with the fast pace of ITAD and electronics recycling. You will lead both direct and indirect reports, oversee day-to-day production, ensure strict EHS and compliance standards, and act as a key client-facing representative.
This role is ideal for a strong people leader who thrives in hands-on environments, enjoys building teams and processes, and is comfortable balancing operational excellence with customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage daily ITAD and electronics recycling operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency
* Recruit, develop, motivate, and manage a diverse workforce, scaling to up to 100 employees as the site becomes fully operational
* Set, track, and deliver against operational targets and KPIs across productivity, quality, safety, and cost
* Ensure full compliance with environmental, health & safety (EHS) regulations and internal standards
* Oversee regulatory, client, and internal compliance requirements, audits, and reporting
* Act as the primary client-facing contact for site-related matters, performance reviews, and operational updates

What you'll need
* Proven experience as a Site Manager / Operations Manager in a manufacturing environment
* Strong background in leading large operational teams, including direct and indirect reports
* Experience setting and managing KPIs, targets, and performance metrics
* Solid understanding of EHS and compliance within regulated operational environments
* Excellent people management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams
