Job Role: Team Leader
Location: Twisel Lodge, Holywood, BT18 9 BJ
The Service:
* Twisel Lodge is a residential home registered with RQIA to provide services for adults with Learning Disabilities and associated complex needs.
This service provides an opportunity for main carers to get a break from caring duties and enables them to refresh and continue their caring role.
The Role:
1. As part of the Living Options Services, the Team Leader will be a part of the management team and support the Registered Manager to meet Residential Care Homes Regulations and DHSSPS Minimum Standards.
2. Annual Leave: 6.4 weeks days pro rata in each leave year (inclusive of statutory days). This increases to 7.4 weeks after 5 years' service and 7.8 weeks after 10 years' service.
3. Pension Scheme: Auto-enrolment pension scheme, 5% employee contribution and 4% employer contribution.
4. Sick Pay: Occupational Sick Pay that increases with service, up to 6 months full pay and 6 months half pay after 5 years.'

Essential Criteria:
* Professional Qualifications: Professional Social Work qualification and be registered or eligible for registration on appointment on the NISCC's register.
* Nursing Qualification: A first level registered nurse on the appropriate part of the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
* Occupational Therapy Qualification: A qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC OR A relevant Degree i.e. Psychology, Social Care AND be registered or eligible for registration on appointment on the NISCC's register.
* Health and Social Care Qualification: A level 3 Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent AND be registered or eligible for registration on appointment on the NISCC's register.
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience: Two years' previous experience in a social care setting providing support/care.
* Knowledge: Working knowledge of the needs of people with learning and physical disabilities.
* IT Skills: High level of competency in IT to include Microsoft Office packages.
