The candidate will report directly to the EMEA Tax Director and join a dynamic Tax Team in Dublin, working a hybrid model with 2‑3 days in office per week.
How you'll spend your time here
* Prepare periodic VAT returns and other indirect tax filings for multiple EMEA jurisdictions.
* Ensure tax accounting is performed accurately and timely.
* Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to address VAT compliance queries.
* Analyze GL entries and VAT treatment of invoices to determine claimable versus non‑claimable VAT.
* Liaise with external consultants and internal teams to manage local and foreign VAT reclaims.
* Assists in month‑end closings and maintain VAT registers for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
* Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
* Support VAT audits managed by the Tax Team.
We'd love to talk to you if you have many of the following
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Tax, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
* Recently or partially qualified ACCA/ACA.
* Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision‑making.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a tax function with EMEA VAT experience preferred.
* Excellent time‑management skills with strong attention to data‑driven deliverables.
* Understanding of European VAT regulations would be beneficial.
* Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
* Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Proactive, hands‑on attitude with a willingness to dive in and get things done.
* Experience using NetSuite, Coupa, SharePoint, Workday, and Concur preferred.
