We are seeking an engaged, enthusiastic programme assistant to join our growing, fun, friendly team.About the PositionResponsibilities include assisting with the day-to-day running of the after school care programme; creating a safe and secure environment and ensuring that all children receive optimal care at all times.This role will encompass the following key responsibilities:Collaborating with the manager to implement after school care programmesAssisting in developing and coordinating daily activitiesProviding high quality childcare to school aged childrenSupervise homework activitiesProviding children with a voice and giving it due weightDeveloping relationships with parents and other stakeholders ie: School Secretaries, Caretakers, Principals etcEnsuring a safe, secure and fun environment for all children in our careEnsuring full compliance with company policies and best practiceUsing the booking management systemAbout YouSuitable candidates with the following skills and experience are encouraged to apply:Minimum QQI Level 5 in ChildcareRelevant experience in a similar role, preferably with children of school-going age.First Aid (We can arrange if needing renewal)Friendly, approachable, enthusiastic, caringGood communicator, able to use own initiative and reliableMust have own transportationCandidate details will be submitted for Garda VettingJob Type: Part-timeGeneral working hours: 1pm-6pm Monday – Friday onsiteSalary: €15.00 per hour (starting)Schedule:Monday to FridayJob Types: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed termPay: €15.00 per hourBenefits:ChildcareEmployee discountOn-site parkingSick payWork Location: In person
