Order Processing Manager | Customer Order Manager required for on line retail business in Galway city.On site role.
Responsible for overseeing all processes related to goods inwards, monitor return consignments, and manage the recruitment, training, and performance of the team responsible for these operations.Play a key role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of our products, from receiving and storing goods to processing returned items.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of goods inwards, including receiving, checking and the storing of products.
- Monitor and manage return consignments, ensuring accurate processing.
- Recruit, hire, and train team members involved in fulfilment operations.
- Continuously monitor team performance and implement coaching and feedback strategies.
- Develop and optimize processes to improve efficiency and ensure zero errors in operations.
- Handle problem-solving across various fulfilment-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining operational flow.
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., customer service manager) to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of all operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Third level degree with proven experience in managing teams within a fulfilment, logistics, or warehouse environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality control.
- Experience in recruitment, hiring, and training employees in an operations setting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while maintaining high standards.
- Experience with fulfilment systems or software is a plus.
