About Your New Role
As the Technical Services Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the delivery, coordination, and performance of technical operations across a portfolio of corporate office locations. Leading a diverse team of engineering professionals, you will ensure all technical activities meet regulatory, contractual, and organisational standards. This role also plays a key part in technical planning for upcoming projects and maintaining the integrity of the CAFM system.
Key Duties / Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership and direction to a multidisciplinary engineering team, ensuring effective performance management and ongoing development
* Manage day-to-day technical operations and maintenance activities to ensure service delivery meets compliance and quality expectations
* Oversee the CAFM system, ensuring all maintenance activity, compliance records and scheduling information are accurate and up to date
* Conduct quality audits on internal teams and external suppliers, following up on any corrective actions
* Support financial management across the portfolio, including budget tracking, invoice approval, and cost-control measures
* Act as the primary point of contact for client representatives and onsite stakeholders, providing clear KPI reporting and operational updates
* Contribute to early-stage project assessments, ensuring technical information, risk considerations, and planning details are captured
* Promote continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiencies across technical operations
What Skills You Need
* Degree Qualified Engineer

* Proven leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary technical or engineering teams
* Previous responsibility for managing and utilising CAFM or CMS systems
* Strong background in contractor oversight, budget control, and client engagement
* Solid understanding of compliance, health & safety requirements, and industry legislation
* Experience managing technical services across multiple corporate office sites
* Exposure to the early phases of project planning and technical scoping
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Demonstrated ability to implement change, drive improvements, and solve complex problems
