Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Operations Director to lead our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a challenging role and contribute to the success of our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to all departments, ensuring that set agreed standards are managed and monitored on a daily basis. They will also be responsible for providing exceptional service and guest attention, as well as assisting in the operation at key times during service both morning and evening.

In this role, you will also be responsible for:

* Providing leadership in ensuring that all departments provide exceptional service and guest attention.
* Assisting in the operation at key times during service both morning and evening.
* Providing innovation to the departments and operations.

Key Responsibilities


Operations Management

The Operations Director will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the hotel, including:

* Managing the legal service and inspection requirements of the property and equipment.
* Planning and managing any in-house projects.
* Managing the purchase order process within each department.


Financial Management

The Operations Director will also be responsible for managing the financial aspects of the hotel, including:

* Managing the P&L monthly accounts.
* Liaising with the hotel assistant financial controller on all cost aspects for the hotel.


Human Resources

The Operations Director will also be responsible for managing the human resources aspects of the hotel, including:

* Managing the monthly payroll of the rooms division departments.
* Updating our HR system (Alkimii).

Qualifications and Experience


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

* A hospitality degree or higher.
* A minimum of 2 years experience in an Operations or Food and Beverage Management role.

Skills and Qualities


Required Skills

You will need to possess:

* A strong knowledge and passion for food, beverage and banqueting, rooms and front office.
* A strong ability to manage all cost controls.
* Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
* Excellent organisational skills.
