Overview Of Role
Become part of a growing multi-disciplinary team delivering automated equipment solutions from concept through to full implementation.
Machine control system software design, development & commissioning.
A great opportunity to gain varied experience in the design of high-tech engineering applications.
Main Tasks
Design and integrate control system software for automated machines including PLCs, Robotics, Motion, HMI, SCADA, Vision.
Develop, test, commission & support machine control software.
Design of equipment to CE, electrical, machinery safety and clients' standards.
Interpret & develop design & validation documentation required for regulated industries (URS, FDS, FAT, etc).
Specification of control system components.
Collaborate closely within a multi-disciplinary project team throughout an entire project life cycle.
Experience
10+ years of previous experience in similar industries.
PLC & HMI experience essential, preferably with Allen Bradley or Siemens platforms.
Knowledge of automated machine design, specification & development.
Ability to create technical documentation.
Familiarity with robotics, motion control, machine vision, pneumatics an advantage.
